Mickie McCormic was an Artist-in-Residence at the Mendocino Art Center for two years, and now lives in Mendocino full-time, teaching and working in her studio in the heart of the village. Her range of skills includes work with light sensitive dyes, various image transfer techniques, disperse dyes, and photo silk screen printing. She began quilting in 2012, and has had her art quilts accepted in national shows.

Mickie teaches workshops, sells technique DVDs, makes dolls from recycled fabric.
